Newborn Photography
Newborn photography is the most interesting kind we have come across. In the beginning we were uncertain as to how is Newborn photography going to go? Is it going to be difficult? How to handle a newborn while shooting? On the shoot day we got answer to everything we were worried about. As photographers we have everything planned before hand but in Newborn photography shoot we decided not to expect anything. Our team packed extra stuff so that we won’t fall short of anything during newborn photography.
We first meet our client to mix up well and know about their expectations as we do in every shoot. And afterwards, we decide the location of shoot to which we prefer the residence of the clients. Home is a place where newborn will be safe, comfortable and out of the contact of everything outside the house. We make clients choose from the different concepts of the shoot. And for background we chose neutral and pastel colours so that if family comes in frame it fits perfectly. Addition to this we also want a room or area which has ample of natural light. Lastly, we asked our clients to make house warm before we reach the location.
Newborn photography includes certain props such as knitted blanket, child’s clothes, toys, floral décor, décor props, etc. Indoor shoots creates less possibility for different poses and for resort we are only left with props. Newborn came out differently, it was beautiful and we totally adored every part of it. The baby was asleep all the time. It takes four to five hours including feeding the newborn and changing setup, etc. It was a short session which included family session as well. We loved how everything went well and we were able to capture the peace and innocence of newborn.
Our team has observed certain things to remember while opting for new born photography; firstly, always opt for home as shoot location resist outdoor location otherwise it will be a trouble for both family and photographer; secondly, always prefer a place which is a source of natural light and is full of peace; thirdly, choose warm, neutral or pastel colours so that if the family wants to fit in it gives natural and subtle effect to the pictures; fourthly, newborn photography needs lots of patience and silence as the baby will be asleep all the time; fifthly, newborn photography is way different than other photography here you have to change props and other things, the newborn is never going to pose for the camera, it’s you who have to change the pose of the baby as well.
However, we loved working with the little bundle of joy and of course the ones who gave life to the little bundle of joy i.e. parents. Our team was dedicated the whole time, preparing and planning the schedule of the whole newborn photography shoot.
